CALL FOR POSTERS

SCOPE AND GOALS

The NQN/UW Quantum Programming in Theory, Experiment and in the Classroom workshop presents excellent opportunities for graduate students, undergraduate students, researchers, practitioners, entrepreneurs, and start-ups to showcase their work and engage with the international quantum programming community. Posters are intended to stimulate discussions of recent advances, experiences, and challenges in quantum programming. The poster sessions starts off with a lightening round (3-5mins) to highlight your poster, then you’ll break out into your own virtual room where attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and have meaningful discussions.

POSTER EVALUATION CRITERIA

Posters are accepted according to the following evaluation criteria:

  • Expected interest in and novelty of the poster’s topic among people in the quantum programming communities.
  • Quality of the poster submission, including the virtual poster.
  • Potential of the poster to advance the state of quantum programming and research and practice.

POSTER PROPOSAL SUBMISSION FORMAT

How to prepare your NQN/UW Quantum Programming in Theory, Experiment and in the Classroom workshop Poster presentation for the week of September 16-18th, 2020?

  1. Submit Title and Abstract for your Poster.
  2. Abstract should contain your lightening round overview.
  3. Submit a PDF or PPT of your Poster.
  4. Submissions must be in English.

IMPORTANT POSTER SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

  • By submitting a poster to the NQN/UW Quantum Programming in Theory, Experiment and in the Classroom workshop, you are making a commitment to register and attend the workshop upon acceptance of your poster.
  • Posters are exhibited in an individual virtual meeting room and a lightening round presentation to attendees will be required prior to the poster session.

POSTER SUBMISSION DEADLINES

  • Full poster submission deadline: September 7, 2020 — via QPTEC EasyChair (SUBMIT HERE)
  • Poster acceptance notification: September 10, 2020
  • Poster author registration deadline: September 12, 2020
